The open-air mall, which has been around since 1957, is filled with brand-name shops, bargain basements, food stalls, cinemas and other entertainment facilities.

Miami is renowned for its special mixture of cuisine, which features a blend of Latino, Latin American and Caribbean flavours. Transport Around Miami

Miami International Airport is located just a short drive from downtown and has a plethora of daily flights within America and to destinations around the globe. Amtrak train service has connections between Miami and New York City, Washington DC and other cities along the western seaboard. Greyhound buses offer routes from all over the country. Driving in to Miami is an enjoyable experience as there is some beautiful scenery along the way.

Miami, like any other major city, has some crime but if common sense is used and certain areas avoided it is easy to avoid any problems.
