Backpacker Travel Insurance
For backpackers or travellers taking extended time out from the UK we provide specialist backpacking travel insurance. We can offer our specialist backpacker policy for people aged 18 to 39. You can also include ski insurance and snowboarding cover for up to 18 months, ideal if you will be working in a ski resort whilst away.
Our policies will give you peace of mind if you have an accident or fall ill while travelling abroad. We also have optional cover for your personal possesions in case of loss, damage, or theft.
If you decide to stay abroad a bit longer than you first planned, then that's not a problem with us. As long as you contact us before your current policy finishes you can extend your Backpacker Travel Insurance policy up to 18 months whilst you're away and we only charge you the pro rata cost.
Optional Sports Activity Insurance
Our policy automatically offers sports and activity cover with 63 activities as standard, these include Bungee Jumping, Zorbing, Scuba Diving and even Banana Boating. We even offer Free cover for more extreme activities such as Quad Biking, Jet Skiing and Snow Mobiling amondst other on all policies but with Personal Liability excluded. Remember that not every country has a free health service like we do in the UK and without adequate insurance you could find yourself facing a large medical bill if you fall ill or have an accident abroad without travel insurance.
* If your cover does not meet your requirements, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your policy schedule and if requested return all your documents for a refund of your premium. If during this 14 day period you have travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim then we can recover all costs that you have used for those services. Please note that your cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial 14 day period.
