Long Stay travel insurance policies are ideal if you are looking for a policy to cover you for a trip that lasts from 31 days up to eighteen months. Coverage is available for travel in Europe, Australia / New Zealand, Worldwide (excluding USA & Canada), or Worldwide.

Gap year or Backpacker trips are not just for the very young and with our long stay policy travellers aged 18 - 39 are covered worldwide for a list of over 60 activities and hazardous sports in their policy.

Long Stay Insurance for travel up to 18 months

These include activities such as camel and elephant riding, horse back riding, yachting, scuba diving and quad biking to name a few.

Our cheap travel insurance policies are flexible and can be tailored to suit your sporting requirements. You could increase your premium if you want to include further sports activities not covered in our inclusive standard activity pack such as zorbing, scuba diving and white water rafting.

You will be given access to a 24 hour medical emergency helpline and should you need it you will be covered for up to £3 million of medical expenses.

* If your cover does not meet your requirements, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your policy schedule and if requested return all your documents for a refund of your premium. If during this 14 day period you have travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim then we can recover all costs that you have used for those services. Please note that your cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial 14 day period.
