Long Stay Insurance for travel up to 18 months
Long Stay travel insurance policies are ideal if you are looking for a policy to cover you for a trip that lasts from 31 days up to eighteen months. Coverage is available for travel in Europe, Australia / New Zealand, Worldwide (excluding USA & Canada), or Worldwide.
Gap year or Backpacker trips are not just for the very young and with our long stay policy travellers under 50 are covered worldwide for a list of over 40 activities and hazardous sports in their policy.
These include activities such as camel and elephant riding, horse back riding, yachting, deep sea fishing and parascending over water.
Our cheap travel insurance policies are flexible and can be tailored to suit your sporting requirements. You could increase your premium if you want to include further sports activities not covered in our inclusive standard activity pack such as zorbing, scuba diving and white water rafting.
Back Home visits at No Extra cost
A popular feature of our Long Stay policy is the no extra cost for "Back Home" visits. This can come in very useful if you need to return to the UK for a period of time and your cover is then resumed once you continue your trip.
 You will be given access to a 24 hour medical emergency helpline and should you need it you will be covered for up to £3 million of medical expenses. You could also opt to exclude baggage cover and include cover for your lap top.
