Positioned on the northeast tip of the island is the stunning gold-tiled Wat Phrayai, where the impressive 'Big Buddha' stands. The 24-metre high statue rests on top of the Koh Faan, a small island that is connected to the shore by a small sand causeway. At Wat Khunaram, you will find an amazing mummified monk that died in the lotus meditation position and has been embalmed for all to see.
