Ski Clothing - Middle Layer

The mid layer of clothing generaly consists of;

Tee Shirt
Micro Fleece
Polo Neck
Sweatshirt
Gillet

For really cold weather conditions, three layers of clothing is advisable. The base layer keeps the perspiration away from your skin so the second layer has to be breathable to let the moisture escape further to the outer layer. With three layers you can adjust the temperature more easily be removing the mid layer. This layer would normaly consist of a fleece garment or a gilet which could be combined with a long sleeved base garment as this makes the ensemble less bulky under the arms. It is essential to keep the garments clean and dry so as not to block the fabrics pores which would effect their performance.
