About the Resort
Telluride is a resort steeped in Wild West atmosphere. It's south west Colorado location means that many UK skiers find the convoluted journey too much to contemplate. The slope side mountain village is a great development with lavish modern condos. The towns buildings have been restored and it has a celebrity following. It has great views of craggy mountains and plenty to do if you don't like skiing - horse riding, dog sledding, shoe shoeing and ice skating.
About the Mountains near Telluride
The resort is a good all rounder and should offer somthing for everyone. The expert will find the challenging terrain of Gold Hill exciting and the intermediates can enjoy sweeping blue runs amidst great scenery. Beginners will find there are plenty of gentle blues and greens to progress to.
Après Ski at Telluride
The apres ski is mostly bar based and lively. Mountain restaurants are far and few between and some dining is members only.
