About the Resort
The resort of Smugglers' Notch is purpose built and child friendly and so those travelling without a family may find it a bit too child focused. The accommodation is not hotel based (unless travelling by car) and most people stay in self catered condos. The resort offers fantastic facilities/lessons for children including before and after childcare sessions.
About the Mountains near Smugglers Notch
The resort's slopes are spread over three hills. There are two or three double diamond runs and you can ski amongst the trees although the areas are not patrolled. Intermediates may run out of slopes to ski but beginners should be more than happy.
Après Ski at Smugglers Notch
There aren't any mountain restaurants but there are snack huts. The resort has few restaurants but there are more within a short driving distance. The apres ski is almost non existant and what there is is family orientated.
