About the Resort
The resort is charming with a small vilage and a lovely main street. The centre is close to the nursery slopes and a five munute walk from the main gondola outside the village. Its proximity to other towns mean that if skiing is not your thing, trips to Innsbruck or Salzburg can be made by rail or bus.
About the Mountains near Westondorf
The local slopes are small and a bit limited. You can access the Ski Welt circuit easily via a bus to Brixen and then a gondola. Half of its pistes have snow making facilities. Nearly all the local terrain is red in gradient. The main Ski Welt area has mile agter mile of easier intermediate runs. Their is also extensive village nursery slopes and a couple of blues to progress to.

Most of the good restaurants are hotel based. The nightlife is quite lively but there are limitations due to the size of the resort and so do get very over crowded. There is live music and theme nights.
