We have listed below the majority of questions we frequently get asked regarding the email confirmations we send out. Email FAQs

  • How do I view the e-mailed version of my policy?
    You will need a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the attachments. To download the latest version, visit the link at the end of your policy confirmation e-mail.
  • How will I receive my policy documents?
    Once the online or telephone booking is completed you will be immediately emailed your detailed policy certificate and full policy wording document. Should you also require a hard copy posted to you there is a small administration charge.
  • I can't find the email you have sent me with my travel insurance documents.
    The email confirming the purchase of our travel insurance along with the policy certificate and policy wording is sent immediately payment is made. However if you use a Free email account such as Hotmail or Gmail you may find that the email has gone into your Junk mail folder.
  • How can I prevent your emails going into my junk mail folder or If you didn’t receive your policy documents email from CheapTravelInsurance.Com…?
    To ensure that your CheapTravelInsurance.Com emails are always delivered to your inbox, log in to your email now and follow the steps below to add CheapTravelInsurance.com to your address book, contacts or “Safe Senders” list.

Gmail
For new emails:-

Please add our "from" address (Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk) to your Gmail contacts list. To add us to your contact list:

  1. Click "Contacts" along the left side of any Gmail page.
  2. Click "Add Contact".
  3. Copy and paste our "From" address, "Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk”, into the primary email address dialog box.
  4. Click "Save".

For existing emails:-
How to check if our email newsletter is in the "Spam" folder:

  1. Click "Spam" along the left side of any Gmail page.
  2. If you see any Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk email listed among the messages in this folder, check the box next to our email.
  3. Click the "Not Spam" button along the top.

Windows Live Hotmail
For new emails:-

Please add our "from" address (Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk) to your Safe Senders list. To add us to your Safe Senders list:

  1. Open your mailbox and click "Options" (upper right hand corner).
  2. Click the "Junk Email Protection" link (top of page).
  3. Select the "Safe List" link (second from bottom).
  4. Copy and paste "Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk" into the dialog box titled "Type an address or domain".
  5. Click the "Add" button next to the dialog box.

For existing emails:-
How to check if our email is in the "Junk Email Folder" folder:

If our email is in your “Junk Email Folder”, open the email and click the "Not Junk" button. Next, check to see if our email address is in your "Blocked Senders" list. If you see "travel.sales@cheaptravelinsurance.com" on this list, select it and click the "Remove" button. Finally, if you have not done so, add our "from" address (Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk) to your Safe Senders list as described above.

AOL
For new emails:-

Please add our "from" address (Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk) to your Safe Senders list. To add us to your Safe Senders list:

  1. Click "Mail Menu" and select "Address Book".
  2. Wait for the "Address Book" window to pop up and then click the "Add" button.
  3. Wait for the "Address Card for New Contact" window to load.
  4. Paste "travel.sales@cheaptravelinsurance.com", into the "Other Email" field.
  5. Make our "from" address the "Primary Email" address by checking the associated check box.
  6. Click the "Save" button.

For existing emails:-

If our email is in your AOL Spam Folder, please open the email and then click the "This Is Not Spam" button. Next, please add "Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk", to your address book as described above.

Yahoo
For new emails:-

You will need to set up a filter to redirect our emails into your inbox:

  1. Open your mailbox and click on "Mail Options" (upper right hand corner).
  2. Select Filters.
  3. Click the "Add" link on the filters page.
  4. Update the "From Header" rule with the following two pieces of information: "contains" and "@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk".
  5. Click the "Choose Folder" pull-down menu and select "Inbox". Pick the "Add Filter" button.

For existing emails:-

If our emails and/or newsletters are ending up in your Yahoo! "Bulk Folder", please open the issue and click the "Not Spam" button. Next, check to see if the address the email or newsletter was sent from is in your "Blocked Addresses" list. If you see "Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk" on this list, select it and click the "Remove Block" button. Finally, please set up a filter as outlined above.

Microsoft Outlook 2003 - 2007

Please add our "from" address (Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk) to your Safe Senders list. To add us to your Safe Senders list:

  1. On the "Tools" menu, click "Options".
  2. On the "Preferences" tab, click "Junk Email".
  3. On the "Safe Senders" tab, click "Add".
  4. In the "Add Address" field, enter "Travel_Insurance@secure-travelinsurance.co.uk".
  5. Click "OK".
