How will I know if I have an Existing Medical Condition?

If you have answered 'Yes' to the questions below, you must tell us, in order to obtain cover for your medical condition(s), although an increased premium or excess may be required to do so.

Should we require any additional premium, and you accept our offer, this should be paid to travellers health check, and sent within 14 days of our offer.

Should you decide not to pay the additional premium the declared medical condition will not be covered. Full confirmation of our terms and conditions will be sent out to your address after your call. Any additional medical conditions not declared to us will not be covered.

Have you, or anyone travelling with you ever had treatment for:

  • • Any heart or circulatory condition?
    • A stroke or high blood pressure?
    • Breathing condition (including Asthma)?
    • Any type of Cancer?
    • Any type of Diabetes?
    • Has your doctor altered your regular prescribed medication in the last 3 months?

  • In the last 2 years - have you, or anyone who is travelling with you, been treated for any serious or re-occurring medical condition, asked to take regular prescribed medication, or referred to a specialist or consultant at a hospital for tests, diagnosis or treatment?

  • Are you are waiting for any tests, treatment or a non routine hospital appointment?

  • Do any close relatives, business associates or friends who are not travelling with you or who are not insured with us have an existing medical condition (even if considered as ‘stable’, under control or in remission)?

What should I do if my medical situation changes?

If your answer changes to ‘Yes’ at any point after the purchase of this policy you must call to inform us of this change in health to ensure you are fully covered for your trip. 01392 287 418


    You must inform us of any change to your health or medical status should this arise before your trip start date.

    If taking our Annual Multi Trip Cover you should also contact us if you develop a medical condition after your policy was issued or if your existing medical condition changes after your policy was issued.

* If your cover does not meet your requirements, please notify us within 14 days of receiving your policy schedule and if requested return all your documents for a refund of your premium. If during this 14 day period you have travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim then we can recover all costs that you have used for those services. Please note that your cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial 14 day period.
