Can I get travel insurance over 65 with a medical condition?

If you are travelling with a pre-existing medical condition you will need to declare this during the medical screening process and there may be an additional premium for the condition and this will be reflected by the condition, age and any other conditions you may have and includes having symptoms, tests, diagnosis or medical treatment for a condition. The medical screening process is easy and straightforward, just make sure you declare all conditions whether it's asthma, diabetes, living with cancer, high blood pressure or one of the many hundreds of other conditions. We hope in almost all cases, to be able to provide a quotation for your policy to cover your condition(s) once the screening questionnaire has been completed. If you need more help then just call us and we’ll be happy to give you a quote over the phone.

If you require cover for a more serious medical condition that we can't cover, MoneyHelper may be able to help in finding you a specialist travel insurance through their medical directory. If you wish to get in touch with them you can call them on 0800 1387777 or find them online here, (Monday to Friday 8:00-18:00).
