ACE announces new executive

Insurance company ACE has named its new head of travel for UK and Ireland.

The travel cover provider said in a press release issued on Monday that Emma Bazard, the company’s current relationship manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, had been promoted to the role effective immediately.

Bazard will report to ACE Group’s regional travel director Chris Price as well as Duncan Green, the accident and health head for the firm’s UK and Ireland operations division. The company said in the release that the Bazard will be responsible for ensuring profitable growth for the group’s travel businesses in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Emma first began working with ACE in 2007 as the firm’s manager of marketing services; she was later moved to the travel business in 2009.

ACE also announced via the release the addition of Alan Berry to ACE Group’s travel staff as regional travel insurance underwriter for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr Berry comes to ACE after a seven-year run at Europaische Reiseverischerung AG-owned insurance provider ETI International Protection.

Finally, Andre Graham will become ACE’s new head underwriter for UK and Ireland travel, after being promoted from the post of travel project coordinator for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
