The resort has extensive slopes and this is the plus point to counter balance the fact that this resort is not a good choice if you are looking for a resort that is easy to navigate. It is set in a broad and flat bottomed valleywith slopes either side. It has two main centres a mile apart called Dorf and Platz. The transport links are good and rail links to Kloisters. There is plenty to do here if you don't like skiing and prefer shopping or other sports especialy ice skating where they have one of Europes largest natural ice rink.

About the Mountains near Davos

The slopes are varied and there are so many it would be hard to cover them all. There are lots of opportunities if you are an expert to sample black runs and lots of off piste skiing. Intermediates will enjoy the cruising runs on all of the five mountains. Beginners have less choice and would struggle to find too many manageable and accessible nursery slopes although there is a good chance of progression on to numerous easier runs.

Après Ski at Davos

In a town of this size it would be hard not to find what you are looking for by way of varied night life. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and a large casino.
