About the Resort

This resort is made up of two main sectors with their centres a mile apart. The resort is made up of mostly unattractive dull apartment blocks and hotels with little Alpine character. Crans is more up market and the other area Montana is less so with cheaper restaurants and bars.

About the Mountains near Crans Montana

The resorts slopes are spread over three well linked areas with a fair number of woodland slopes which are good in bad weather. There is a free bus service and a modern well designed lift system with few queues. Although there is plenty of off piste there isn't too much to keep the expert too busy. The intermediates will find mostly wide pistes that are not too challenging. The beginner will be pleased to see that most of the slopes are good and vary in difficulty.

Après Ski at Crans Montana

There are almost 20 mountain restaurants and a good selection of places to eat out from Lebanese to French. Night life consists of mainly lively bars.
