About the Resort

This is a traditionaly quant and polite ski resort frequented by well heeled families and older people. It is high and remote and reached via a long and windy road. At the head of a beautiful wooded valley the resort is a classic winter sports destination with lots going on to keep the snowboarder, ice skater and cross country skier more than happy. It is a quiet and relaxed location with an excellent bus service.

About the Mountains near Arosa

Most of the runs are above tree line and are situated in a wide open bowl with all the runs returning to the village at the bottom. They are spread over two main sectors with relatively few queues. Arosa has some of the best and most varied cross country in the Alps. The resort is not the best for experts but there is plenty of opportunity to ski off piste. Intermediates will enjoy the area if they are looking for fairly easy runs that are not too challenging. Beginners will find som excellent slopes.

Après Ski at Arosa

The apres ski is fun and varied. Something for everyone, whether you are looking for cosy piano bars or more lively bars, The mountain restaurants are very good.
