About the Resort
Les Gets is an attractive, sunny tradititional village with chalet style buildings on the low pass leading from the A40 route at Cluses to Morzine. The village centre is mostly lcar free and has plenty of attractive food and other shops and restaurants that line the main street. Most of its main facilities are close to the main lift station. It is part of the vast Portes du Soleil pass.
About the Mountains near Les Gets
The main slopes are shared with Morzine and include some of the most challenging in the area. The modest altitude means that ther is always a risk of poor snow but there is good snow making facilities. The village nursery slopes are convenient and thee are even more snow sure ones up at Chavannes. Mont Chery offer some good black runs.
Après Ski at Les Gets
The apres ski is quite quiet especially on weekdays. Off the slopes there is a well equipped fitness centre and pool. The artificial ice rink is also popular.
