Lake Louise Ski Resort Guide

About the Resort of Lake Louise

The resort of Lake Louise is said by many of its visitors to be the most stunning of resorts with matchless scenery in a spectacular setting. If you are not looking for skiing, then unlike some resorts, the scenery and ativities such as walks, sleigh rides and dog sledding on offer are enough to keep the non skiers happyIt is a small resort by some standards and this is reflected in the small village that is just a clutch of hotels and shops dotted along the road. The lift station is a mile or two across the valley so a car comes in handy especially as it can be very cold. You can travel to other resorts such as Kicking Horse and Panorama from Lake Louise as well as nearer ones such as Nakiska. This is an all year round resort and the accommodation costs during the winter are much cheaper.
