About the Resort

The separate villages of Saalbach and Hinterglemm have there centres only about 2 miles apart from each other but remain independant in character. Saalbach is a traditional style village which has pistes coming down in to the village centre. It has a reputation for being a party town. Hinterglemm is not as rowdy and doesn't attract the same type of visitor as Saalbach. It is still a lively and attractive destination with access to a good valley bus service, its' own lifts and runs close to the centre of the village.

About the Mountains near Saalbach H'glemm

The nursery slopesin Saalbach are conveniently located next to the centre of the village. Off pistes guides are available and the main attractions are the north facing slopes. The black runs are very challanging . The blue runs are easy and plentifull.

Après Ski at Saalbach H'glemm

The apres ski here is very lively from mid afternoon onwards. There are over 40 mountains huts serving food. The choice of venu is extensive and includes pubs and lively discos. There is some rep organised sleigh rides and tobogganing. A lot of the entertainment is hotel based and includes somegood restaurants.
