US reality TV star Kim Kardashian has accused British Airways employees of stealing from her checked luggage.

US reality TV star Kim Kardashian has accused British Airways employees of stealing from her checked luggage.

Kardashian said at the weekend via a series of posts on Twitter that she was “very disappointed” with the UK flag carrier for opening her luggage and swiping items that were “sentimental and irreplaceable”. She went on to say that she longed for the days in which luggage could be locked and that passengers should be allowed to do so once again because there is no longer "a sense of trust".

The news came as the 31-year-old TV diva returned home to from an excursion to London to film footage for an upcoming television show. She also took time to plug her new fragrance True Reflection and spent some time in Europe, which included a stopover at the Cannes Film Festival.

No word has yet been given as to what was taken from her suitcases and British Airways said that it was aware of Ms Kardashian’s complaint and were looking into the matter.

During her time in London, Kim reportedly spent most of her time off-set with current boyfriend Kanye West. Reports said that she even barred him from a night out for a meal with fellow rapper Jay-Z.
