Travel Insurance for Asthma

Asthma is a condition that causes the airways of the lungs to become swollen and inflamed, so tightening these muscles. If you are an asthma sufferer, your bronchi are more sensitive and this condition can be triggered by pollen, household dust mites, smoke, some foods and air pollutants causing an astham attack.

Medical Screening for Asthma

If you are an astmha sufferer, we will need to determine the severity of your condition. When you get to section 4 in our booking process you will be asked a number of questions. These questions are really straightforward. You will then be given a quote for any additional premium (cost), to include asthma insurance on your policy.

At this point you can accept the additional premium, which will then mean once you have paid you are covered for your asthma. You can also decide to decline the additional cover at this point, which would mean that you will still be covered for standard medical cover, but would not be covered for anything related to asthma.

If during this 14 day period you have travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim then we can recover all costs that you have used for those services. Please note that your cancellation rights are no longer valid after this initial 14 day period.
