This post requires attention to detail and a interest in resort guests and their requirements. The job requires confident leaders who can work well under pressure. A history of jobs in man management is vital as the position requires diplomacy and firmness with other members of staff. Most resorts would expect the applicants to have held a clean drivers license for more than 3 years and to be in their mid to late 20's at least.

The training and monitoring of staff performance is also required as is stamina and a good knowledge of foreign languages.

Resort Manager duties could include;

  • Organising transfer days
  • Managing area vehicles
  • Complete accounting information deadlines for the Alpine Financial Controller
  • Supplier liaison
  • Chalet co-ordinator liaison
