About the Resort

This is a small resort a short bus ride away from the old town of Steamboat Springs. There are a few shops and restaurants with some piste side lodgings. The wide main street is lined with bars, hotles and shops. Most accommodation is in condominiums although there are chalets.

About the Mountains near Steamboat

The slopes have five sectors and the gondolas from the village rises to the low peak of Thunderhead. Then there is; Storm Peak, Mt Werner, Sunshine Peak and Morningside Park. The main attraction for the expert is extensive terrain dotted around all the main sectors. Intermediates will find that the mountain is ideal with its long cruising blue runs although the more experienced amongst them may be a disapointed once all the main blues have been tried. Beginners have a large nursery area a the base of the mountain with plenty of gentle greens to progress to.

Après Ski at Steamboat

There are plenty of dining out opportunities but the apres ski tends to be a bit quiet. The mountain restaurants are good with a choice of table and self service.
