About the Mountains near Squaw Valley
The resort has 4,000 acres of open bowls and lightly wooded sectors on six linked peaks. There are two powerful lifts from the base and a large cable car. There is an area of long snow sure gentle slopes for beginners and intermediates will have fun on the cruising area. Experts are well advised to use guides around the steep areas.

There is a mid mountain comples which is open during the evening, housing bars, restaurants an outdoor pool, ice rink, tennis courts and bungee jumping.
