About the Resort

This resort is popular with families who like it's friendly atmosphere and car free zones. It does not have a central hotel and the accommodation is mostly apartments.

About the Mountains near Northstar-at-Tahoe

It is a sheltered resort with very nice long views and a good lift system. A broad bowl with short steep pitches can be reached from the short gondola trip to a mountain lodge at Big Springs. Intermediates will find easy blue runs. Snow making is fairly good.

Après Ski at Northstar-at-Tahoe

Apres ski is perhaps a bit limited with most taking place in the few bars and a restaurants. There are more options at Big Springs.
