Keystone Ski Resort Guide
About the Resort
The resort of Keystone is a sprawling one with luxurious condominiums spread along a wooded valley. It is divided into seven areas and lacks a clearly defined centre. The nearest thing to a ski resort village is found in River Run which is at the base of the main gondola. Buses link all the outlying areas including; Mountain House (not quite a village), Keystone Village and Copper Mountain.
About the Mountains near Keystone
The lift pass covers; Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Arapahoe Basin. There is something for everyone. The intermediate will like the beautifully groomed blue and green runs through the trees and the experts have the steeper expert only glade runs. Beginners will be happy with the long green runs once they have progressed from the nursery slopes.
Après Ski at Keystone
There are various restaurants dotted around to suit most budgets. The apre ski is fairly measured and party animals would be dissapointed.
