About the Resort

This is the most popular destination for British skiers. It is a large area made up of mini resorts each having its own selling point. The villages range from Cute -Telluride and Crested Butte to the more glamorous Aspen. Steamboat is isolated and Red Mountain has an extrememely scary approach road.

About the Mountains near Colorado

The area has sectors to suit all abilities and the quality of the snow is what makes Colorado a good destination, Wolf Creek has the most with an average of over 460 inches a year - that and the fact there are direct flights from the UK. Colorado was the first US state to market its selection of resorts and has the enviable title of the 'Champagne Powder' resort.
