About the Resort
This resort is a high altitude mountain village centred on narrow streets. The village centre has a church a few shops and most people gravitate towards the far end of the village where the nursery slope is located along with sunny terraced restaurants. There are good off slope facilities.
About the Mountains near Saas Fee
The resorts slopes are mostly easy runs and not a great pull for the expert. Most of the steep runs are at the bottom half of the mountain where the snow tends to be a bit patchy. Intermediates will find the slopes great for cruising and beginners will find there is a good nursery slope at the edge of the village. There are plenty of good blues to progress to.
Après Ski at Saas Fee
The mountain restaurants are varied. Booking is necessary for restaurants in the village where they are well renowned for good food and although expensive, well worth the trip. The apres ski is well organised and lively.
