About the Resort

This resort is picture postcard style with good transport links and sports facilities. The village consists of old wooden chalets and has a friendly family atmosphere. There are good links to the Portes du Soleil area.

About the Mountains near Engelberg

The sunny slopes do make it difficult to say this is a good all round resort and the area would benefit from more snow making facilities. The expert skier would find the immediate area lacking in real challenges. The intermediate needs to be confident to make the most of the resorts access to the Portes du Soleil.

A nice mix of places to go from cosy bars to lively discos and good food in mountain restaurants during the day.
