Switzerland Ski Resort Guide for Champery
Champery Ski Resort Guide
About the Resort
This resort does suffer from its location. Although it is charming and rustic it does not have great access to the slopes. There are no runs back to the village and sometimes none back the the valley. It is a resort best suited to the intermediary as the beginner will find it tough and there are not too many tough slopes.
About the Mountains near Champery
Champery's slopes are part of the Portes du Soleil circuit. They are open and friendly. The local cable car from Grand Paradis take syo to the bowl of Planachaux. The expert skier may struggle to find enough to do as their are few local challenges. The intermediate will be happy enough if they are confident to make the most of the Portes du Soleil. Beginners will not feel too happy about the steep and limited nursery slopes.
Après Ski at Champery
A good mix of night life. It has most of what you would be looking for if you want to enjoy eating out and visiting bars.
