About the Resort

This is value for money family resort it does have a slight traffic problem. It's architecture is traditional and it offers stunning scenery. The village, one of the liveliest, is at the head of the Val Gardena of World Cup fame. It sits in a lovely spot under impressive pink tinged walls of Sassolungo and the Gruppo Sella.

About the Mountains near Selva

Experts may find the area less than exciting if they're after moguls or more difficult terrain other than the Saslonch World Cup piste and a few others. Although much is kept in racing condition for the Italian team, it is still open to the public for part of the time. It is better suited to the intermediate skier who will enjoy the vast network of runs. Even the beginner will ski happy here with excellent village nursery slopes.

A good range of friendly and easy to reach huts offering quality food compliment a resort with a good number of restaurants. The nightlife reflects the resorts family friendly culture.
