This resort has always been popular with the Brits and continues to be so. Its accommodation is mosly made up of unattractive hotels in a mostly central location with only the occasional chalet to be seen. It is a good value destination with stunning views and a busy centre. It has an attractive centre of narrow twisting streets.
About the Mountains near Sauze d'Oulx
This area is linked into the Milky Way network and has a good mix of open and tree lined runs. Experts may want to wander off piste for the more challenging runs. Intermediates will find its where its at. It has extensive and uncrowded cruising slopes. beginners may struggle with the slope side nursery slopes as they are on the steep side.
Après Ski at Sauze d'Oulx
The mountain restaurants are varied and plentiful. You could opt either table or self service and some have attractive sun terraces. The apres ski, once the preserve of the louder louts is now more suited to the less looney with a good choice of quieter venues as well as noisy bars.
