La Thuile Ski Resort Guide

About the Resort

This is not one of the most popular resorts. It has a suffered from being called soulless compared to the old town across the river. The accommodation is mixed with some being slope side and the Planibel complex, a new area comprising of various buildings housing bars and leisure centre as well as shops and restaurants.

About the Mountains near La Thuile

The slopes benefit from a good sized lift system linked to La Rosiere in France. The area has something for everyone from beginner to expert. Beginners will enjoy the gentle green and easy blue runs. Cross country skiing is variable in degrees of difficulty. The resort has a good lift system and the resort is fairly queue free.

Après Ski at La Thuile

The mountain restaurants can be a bit dissapointing. The apres ski is fairly lively but not the be all and end all for this resort.
