Italy Ski Resort Guide for Bardonecchia
Bardonecchia Ski Resort Guide
About the Resort
This resort is due to stage some of the events for the 2006 Winter Olympics. It is a popular base for touring other nearby French and Italian resorts. It appears slightly rundown and lacks any charm.
About the Mountains near Bardonecchia
There are free bus links to the two separate mountain areas either side of the town. The largest of the two areas is a wide run of over 6,500 feet of tree lined north facing runs. The other area is a tall thin slope of long open west facing runs.
Après Ski at Bardonecchia
Not a good idea to come here for apres ski as it is lacking in choice and quality.
