About the Resort
This is one of the highest resorts in the Alps. It is built on a sunny west facing mountain at the head of th Belleville valley. The centre of the village is largely traffic free. It has a lot to offer those who like shopping and also has a recently improved sports centre.
About the Mountains near Val Torens
There is direct access to the slopes from most of the accommodation. There is a lack of trees and the area can easily be shut down if the snow is heavy. The terrain is very good for intermediates and also has huge areas of off piste to explore. The beginner will find convenient and snow sure nursery slopes close the the resort.
Après Ski at Val Torens
The resort offers a large choice of mountain restaurants and the whole area has a lot to offer the foodie in geneal. The night life isn't bad either offering quiet bars and lively music venues.
