About the Resort

Val Cenis which comprises of two villages is located within the Vanoise National Park and close to the Mont Cenis Pass which is the border with Italy and this ski resort is also next to the Regional Parc d'Avigliana in Italy where there is an enormous choice of high altitude summits you further enjoy. The two villages have a long history of savoyards artists who lived in these villages and so the architecture is definately worth noting and you must also look out for some of the fine scultptures.

There are a total of 63 runs across the resort with the longest run being 10km. There is a good mix of runs with some challenging expert runs too.

This is a quieter resort when the skiing finishes for the day with most off to enjoy a quiet drink in a bar. But there is a good choice of bars and restaurants where mainly traditional Savoyard specialities are served. For those looking for more activities then the ten pin bowling alley is a popular choice as is the ice rink at the Piscine du Parc des Glières at Lanslevillard. For those looking to enjoy a beauty treatment or sauna then try The Ô des Cimes Altitude SPA at the Résidence CGH les Chalets de Flambeau which is open to non residents or the Sauna Cosmic where you can take a sauna while looking out to amazing Mountain views.
