About the Resort
Risoul is a purpose built resort which is one of the more attractive '70's designed ski destinaltions. It is popular with families set amongst the trees. It has lovely views over the Ecrins National Park. Although the resort is not known for its amenities, it is known for it's friendly natives. Most people choose to stay in self catering apartments.
About the Mountains near Risoul
It has one of the biggest domains in the southern French Alps. It's slopes are mostly north facing and spread over several minor peaks. The slopes are ideal for beginners and early intermediates with not too much to keep the expert interested. It has some good nursery slopes with a free lift.
Après Ski at Risoul
Most peoplThe apres ski is quite limited and has a few quiet bars. It offers a good choice of eateries including French food and pizzas.
