Puy St Vincent Ski Resort Guide
About the Resort
This resort is an old mountain village which is purpose built that is generaly good value for money. It is divided into two areas. Station 1400 is along the mountainside from the mjor part Station 1600. Some seasoned skiers may find the resort friendly but limited although it has some good cross country routes. The upper village is an apartment only accomodation area. There isn't a great deal to do off the slopes, although it does have an ice rink and dog sled rides.
About the Mountains near Puy St Vincent
The slopes are limited within a fairly small area. There are some nice gentle slopes between the two villages but most of the runs are above 1600. The snow is fairly reliable and the snow making has increased. The lifts are slow and old and the resort suffers from overcrowding during the French holidays.
Après Ski at Puy St Vincent
The apres ski is quite limited with a reasonable choice of mountain restaurants and a few bars.
