About the Resort
The Portes du Soleil has one of the Worlds largest ski areas. It's slopes are spread out over a vast area and they mostly form part of a large circuit straddling th French Swiss border.
About the Mountains near Portes du Soleil
The slopes are low by French standards with tip heights in the range of 6.560 feet. The slopes do become very crowded. The snow is not too good although snow making has improved over the years. The runs are best suited to keen intermediates.
