This is a charming a friendly resort that doesn't revolve around skiing only. The centre is traffic free and this where most of the hotels are situated. The local pass covers several other resorts to the north and east.
About the Mountains near St Johann in Tirol
St Johann's slopes are on the north facing side of the Kitzbuheler horn. The main access lift from the village is a gondola to Harschbichl with a mid starion at Angereralm. The resort gets a fair amount of snow and the main nursery slopes are vrey good. The keen off pisters will find lots to keep them happy. Cross country is well catered for with a wide variety in its 47 miles of terrain.

A good selection of ice bars and tea daincing is available. The mountain restaurants are spead out over 37 miles of piste and most of the fare is very good with emphasis on the Austrian style.
