SECTION 16 : HIJACK

What is Covered

(Single Trip and Annual Multi-Trip policies only)

We will pay £50 Standard/£100 Super per complete 24 hours up to a maximum of £1,000 Standard/£2,000 Super if the aircraft or sea vessel in which You are travelling is hijacked for more than 24 hours on the original, prebooked, outward journey or return journey.

What is Not Covered

Any claim resulting from You acting in a way which could cause a claim under this Section;
You must give Us a written statement from an appropriate authority confirming the hijack and how long it lasted.
