The UK flag carrier has launched a promotional fare campaign for premium class bookings.

The Heathrow-based airline said at the weekend that savings in excess of 60 per cent are available for first class and business class seats on bookings made between 7 June and 14 June for travel beginning 21 July.

The carrier said in a press release issued last week that rates for its routes between Heathrow and Montreal and Toronto in Canada would feature discounts of up to 64 per cent, whilst passengers heading to Los Angeles and Rio de Janeiro could take advantage of up to 50 per cent savings.

Additional promotional rates include up to 38 per cent off the airline’s route between London City and Palma Mallorca as well as up to 33 per cent savings on business class seats to popular Caribbean holiday destinations including St Kitts, Tobago and Barbados.

According to the press release, BA has included a selection of holiday packages for the promotion, which combine premium class flights with luxurious stays at five-star hotel properties such as the Waldorf Astoria New York and the Marigot Bay resort in St Lucia.

The sale comes at the end of British Airways’ £100 aircraft refurbishment effort, which over the last year has fitted each aircraft in its fleet with the latest in luxurious amenities, officials said.
