All Czech Airlines (CSA) passengers are eligible to take advantage of this offer, including those travelling on code-share flights and on no-frills subsidiary click4sky.com. Anyone booking a flight online at czechairlines.com or click4sky.com will be offered the option of purchasing trip cancellation insurance and general travel cover with their ticket purchase – at special rates.

According to officials at the Czech airline, the agreement between CSA and AIG Europe was signed in Prague on Wednesday by the managing director of Czech Airlines Customer Relations Management Section, František Šír, and the general manager of AIG Europe in the Czech Republic, Luděk Menčík.

The airline’s vice president for Marketing and Product Development, Petr Pištělák, said: “By offering a broad range of additional services, Czech Airlines wants to appeal to a broad range of passengers. To them, travelling with Czech Airlines pays, because they will save on time and money in acquiring a number of the additional services that are required for comfortable travel.”

Menčík of AIG Europe added: “This cooperation has no like in the travel insurance business in the Czech Republic.”
