Major companies still flouting the OFT price watch ruling

Companies in the travel industry had been given a deadline of 31st July to stop advertising misleading pricing on their websites, however some have failed to make the changes throughout their websites. Some flight companies had been quoting prices and adding extras further along the booking process. Add on prices included the cost of fuel supplements and resort transfers. Thomas Cook and Ryanair have not altered the pricing so far and this has caused some concern amongst other industry providers. Eleven other airlines have complied with the ruling. Ryanair has blamed the fact that there would be too many technical problems with changing their sites and have agreed to change them by next February.
