Lawyers in the US are preparing to put their cases to UK lawyers regarding a price fixing allegation against British Airways who are accused of fixing the pricing on long haul routes. A raid by competition authorities has resulted in a least four US law firms planning lawsuits with further companies looking at the situation. BA are already looking at facing price fixing in the airfreight industry. If BA lose, they could be forced to pay three times the profit earned from cartel like behaviour.
