Does the fantastical landscape of Narnia appeal to you?
Well now you can visit it. Not literally, of course, but you can go and see some of the places that the much-anticipated film was set in.
Trying to repeat the huge success of previous fantastical film trilogy, the Lord of the Rings, Nania: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe was mainly filmed in the awe-inspiring locale of New Zealand.
However, other parts of the film were shot in destinations as diverse as the Czech Republic and Old Blighty itself!
Once you have seen the film, if the White Witch's camp tickles your travelling taste buds, take a trip to Auckland, New Zealand. Here, you can explore mountain bike trails, take a trip around Auckland, visit the black sands of Muriwai beach.
The Great Battle was filmed on South Island's Southern Alps, New Zealand and offers sublime mountains and lakes. Aslan's camp was also shot on South Island's Waitaki, where visitors can see for themselves the beautiful Elephant Rocks that protrude from the hillside.
Of course, if you are going away, don't forget your travel insurance.
While the White Witch may not be after you, accidents can still happen and travel insurance will protect you while you are away.
