The French holiday package has had a new lease of life injected into it, with the launch of Brittany Ferries' 2006 holiday brochure.
The ferry operator's brochure sees holiday delights such as wine tasting vacations, spa breaks and river cruises, nestled amongst other more traditional self-catering getaways.
For the very fit and active, Brittany Ferries offers cyclists a six-night stay in Poitou Charentes, France. Holidaymakers stay at pre-booked hotels, while their baggage is transported separately, meaning bikers don't have to pedal heavy bags as well as themselves!
'We have tried very hard indeed to provide something for everyone in next year's programme and our new activity holidays really do offer some exciting new experiences,' said Brittany Ferries' Christiane Barker.
If you are going abroad, whether it's on a relaxing spa break or a cycling trip, travel insurance is an absolute necessity.
Many people believe that the new European Health Insurance Card (formerly the E111 form) is insurance enough while travelling in Europe, but it is not a substitute for comprehensive private travel insurance.
