Thomas Cook has unveiled the launch of a new holiday brochure for overseas and UK spa breaks.

The first ever Thomas Cook brochure of its kind, it will feature 20 hotels offering pre-bookable spa holidays at 15 destinations.

The holiday company says that Brits are increasingly choosing to go on 'pampering' holidays and it expects to double the amount of hotels it features in the brochure next April.

Brits took around 20,000 overseas spa getaways last year 33 per cent indulged in beauty treatments over the same period.

Thomas Cook's Robbie Orr said: 'As we say in the brochure, the most precious gift in life is wellbeing. The 21st century is seeing Britons become increasingly health-conscious - with gym membership and spa treatments the norm for millions.

'We are expecting a great reception for this brochure in the marketplace, and look forward to helping customers truly relax on their holidays next year.'

Health conscious Brits must not forget to take out adequate travel insurance before they go away.
