P&O has announced that in 2008, it will be ready to welcome passengers aboard onto what it describes the one of the biggest ships of its day.
The ship has been built specifically for the British market, and boasts an 'unprecedented' range of facilities.
Tourists thinking of using the boat, once they have arranged their travel insurance, can just sit back and enjoy being pampered in the liner's huge theatre, spa, eight restaurants, five pools and three show lounges.
The Ventura weighs 116,000 tonnes and will be able to carry 3,100 passengers and 1,200 crew.
P&O bost that an 'unprecedented' range of passenger facilities will be able to sea-farers and the ship has a luxurious 900 cabins featuring their own private balcony.
'This new order acknowledges the unprecedented demand for the P&O Cruises brand and its increasingly wide appeal,' said managing director David Dingle.
