An 18-year-old A level student has launched a low cost airline from his Merseyside bedroom. Although his flights need additional travel insurance, the young entrepreneur is still hoping to become the next Richard Branson. Daniel Reilly, from Maghull, West Yorkshire is possibly the youngest chief executive of an airline in the world and is selling cheap flights to the Canary Islands, reports ITN News. Flying from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, passengers can use Daniel's service to visit Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. And at £50 one way, the prices allow plenty of money to buy other holiday items such as travel insurance, sun cream and insect repellent. The student entrepreneur leases Boeing 737 planes from Futura International Airlines, based in Palma, and flights commence from November 1st this year. "I've always been interested in aviation so I decided to do my A-Level business studies project on setting up an airline. I called round a few airlines and asked how they had done it and I slowly realised it was quite achievable," he said. It is advisable for customers who buy flights to ensure that they have the necessary travel insurance to cover their trip abroad.
