Travel insurance is now a regulated industry in the UK by the Financial Services Authority. CheapTravelInsurance.com is a division of Grovelawn Insurance Services Limited which is an appointed representative of Grovelawn Limited authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority Registration Number 314204. This can be checked on the FSA Register.
Through regulation the FSA has brought about certain rules that travel insurance companies must adhere to and that we must have processes in place to ensure that we handle the following in a compliant manner:-
- Correct promotion of our insurance products to ensure that it is not misleading
- To sell and administer general insurance products
- Deal with complaints
- Treating customers fairly
- Handle client monies
- Recruit, supervise and train our staff fully understanding the products sold
- To provide minimum levels of capital and professional indemnity
